Biggest Sandcastle in the World

As part of the Nairn Book and Arts Festival, the resident Nairn Drama Club performs Paul Thain's award-winning radio play The Biggest Sandcastle in the World as first aired on the BBC in 1981

Archie, Tommy, and Jimmy are three unemployed labourers who take on the establishment as they create a huge sandcastle to alleviate their boredom and frustration.
