The Elves and the Shoemaker

One good turn deserves another

We welcome the highly acclaimed Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre to Nairn for the first time with their Children's puppet show - The Elves and the Shoemaker

A struggling Shoemaker is down to his last pair of shoes and is afraid he will lose his little shop if business doesn’t improve.

Two mischievous Elves have come to live there and decide to make some funny and unusual shoes to help him. Beautifully carved wooden puppets tell this heart-warming story of kindness in hard times.

A fun adaption of this Grimm’s tale is retold with the help of beautifully hand-crafted Elf puppets , objects, and of course, lots of lovely Shoes!

Firmly established as one of Scotland’s leading puppet theatre companies, Clydebuilt tour far and wide throughout the UK from Inverness to London and Ireland. The company has also toured internationally to Europe, China, and Dubai. Clydebuilt are well known for their masterly puppet manipulation skills and performances of quality.
