Preloved to Reloved

Preloved to Reloved is the story of Dawn, a middle-aged woman from London who moved to the Highlands to care for her father. She has the last year of his life with him and cannot come to terms with the depth of her grief and how it affects her.

Three years later she opens a social enterprise, a preloved clothes shop to support women like her in midlife hoping to build a community around her in this small coastal town and create a new chapter. “I wanted something positive to come from the pain and the film to help others with loss”.

Directed and produced by Maria Craig.

Running time approximately 15 minutes.

Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated, to be split between Cruse Bereavement Support and the Nairn Book and Arts Festival.
